Grant and Valkaria used to be separate villages in Brevard County, until July, 2006 when residents voted to join them into one incorporated town. Today, Grant-Valkaria has become a sought-after community that strives to maintain its peaceful rural lifestyle, with a great quality of life enhanced by abundant natural beauty and first-rate neighborhood amenities.

Located along the shores of the Indian River, Grant-Valkaria offers a resort lifestyle that has made it the choice of some of Central Florida’s most discriminating residents. The town is surrounded by a wealth of natural reserves, parks and topnotch golf courses. There are more than 17,000 acres of Endangered Animal preserves in the area, as well as a host of nature centers and boat ramps.

  • The Habitat at Valkaria Golf Course

    The community golf course features 18 championship holes, and has been designed with careful consideration for the preservation of the ecosystems in the area. Featuring wetlands, forests and rolling hills, the golf course is home to wildlife like gopher tortoises, sandhill cranes and others. It offers a challenging game for players and a haven for nature enthusiasts.

  • Grant Seafood Festival

    This major annual event celebrates the town’s fishing tradition. The festival is the only one of its kind that’s run completely on volunteer effort. It features booths of the freshest seafood served in classic ways. Live entertainment and art and craft displays are also part of the event.
